A man is facing a laundry list of weapon and threats charges after a shooting in Halifax.

It happened Friday night on Intercolonial Street just before 6 p.m., near Kempt Road.

Five people were arrested; one person was hurt and sent to hospital.

The 36-year-old suspect appeared in court Monday for:

  • Possession of a firearm – no license/certificate
  • Unsafe storage of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
  • Tampering with serial number on firearm
  • Uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death
  • Discharge firearm with intent
