It will be the first significant snowfall of the season and it’s expected Sunday night.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement that includes the whole province, except for extreme southwestern regions.
The forecaster says snow will be heavy at times Sunday night that will continue into Monday with 10 to 20 cm expected, possibly more in higher elevations.
Environment Canada warns about hazardous driving conditions, possible school closures or delayed openings and cancellations.
For the southern most part of the province, precipitation will be mostly rain.
