A search warrant executed by the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service in Constance Lake First Nation on Tuesday resulted in the seizure of 15 firearms and a crossbow.

Police also seized a quantity of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine tablets, Crystal Methamphetamine, Oxycodone, Lorazepam, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, with the drugs estimated to be valued at $40,000.

During the search, two suspects were located and arrested without incident.

While the search was happening NAPS conducted a traffic stop involving two additional suspects who were also arrested.

As a result, a 34-year-old Longlac resident has been charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Lorazepam for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Careless Storage of a Firearm

A 53-year-old Constance Lake First Nation resident has been charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Lorazepam for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Careless Storage of a Firearm

A 28-year-old Constance Lake First Nation resident has been charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Lorazepam for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Careless Storage of a Firearm

A 55-year-old Constance Lake First Nation resident has been charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Lorazepam for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Careless Storage of a Firearm

All four accused have been released with a future court date in July.
