A man remains in custody with a future court date in connection with an assault on the city’s north side.

Police responded to the area around St. Paul and Van Norman streets in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 30.

A 20-year-old was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further treatment.

The 22-year-old Hurkett man has been charged with aggravated assault.
