A recreational water quality advisory is in effect for three beaches in HRM.
The municipality says it is for Oakfield Park Beach in Oakfield, Penhorn Beach in Dartmouth and Sandy Lake Beach in Bedford due to high bacteria levels.
Lifeguards will remain on site, but swimming is not advised.
