Police say several vehicles were stolen during back-to-back break-ins at a Saint John automobile repair shop.
Officers were first called to the business on City Road shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators allege a grey 2016 Honda CRV was stolen and later found unoccupied by police on Wright Street.
Just after midnight Wednesday night, police discovered another break-in at the same business and three missing vehicles.
One of those vehicles, a brown 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, was recovered abandoned earlier in the night by police on Tilley Avenue.
Investigators are still searching for the other two vehicles. One is a blue 2008 Chevrolet Impala with New Brunswick licence plate GVY-079, and the other is a black 2005 Ford F150 with licence plate CLL-040.
No arrests have been made and the force’s Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
