Tens of thousands of New Brunswickers are waking up on Tuesday without any electricity.
NB Power reported more than 770 outages impacting 106,000 customers as of 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Outages are spread throughout the province, though southwestern and western regions are among the hardest hit.
- Central York/Sunbury: 37,203 customers; 247 outages
- Charlotte/Southwest: 17,219 customers; 140 outages
- Carleton: 14,231 customers; 94 outages
- Kings/Queens: 7,554 customers; 51 outages
- Victoria/Madawaska: 6,930 customers; 50 outages
- Moncton/Riverview/Dieppe: 5,269 customers; 40 outages
- Shediac/Cap-Pele: 4,765 customers; 24 outages
- Sackville/Port Elgin: 3,728 customers; 22 outages
- Kent: 3,310 customers; 35 outages
- Kennebecasis Valley/Fundy: 2,819 customers; 39 outages
- Northumberland/Miramichi: 2,577 customers; 18 outages
- Acadian Peninsula: 627 customers; 7 outages
- Chaleur: 315 customers; 7 outages
High winds and heavy rain tore through the province on Monday, leaving behind a trail of destruction in its wake.
Wind gusts as high as 100 kilometres per hour toppled trees and even tore roofs off of buildings.
