A 51-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Lunenburg County.

It happened on Friday morning in East Chester.

Police say the drivers were travelling in opposite directions and their vehicles caught fire after colliding.

The man killed is from Hammonds Plains and died at the scene.

Two others had minor injuries.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
