Snowfall is expected to hit some parts of Cape Breton Saturday afternoon until early Sunday morning.

Environment Canada has issued yellow weather warnings for Inverness County and Victoria County.

Anywhere from 15 to 25 cm of wet, heavy snow is expected, but a mixture of snow and rain could fall near the coastline.

The alert says roads and walkways might be difficult to navigate due to continuous snowfall.
