A shelter in place order was issued for the Ice Pond Drive area of Salmon River in Colchester County.

RCMP officers say two male suspects, armed with a handgun were seen walking around the area, and residents were asked to lock all doors and windows and stay inside while drivers were told to avoid the area.

One suspect wore a dark grey hoodie, green/camouflage pants, and a white shirt. The other wore all black.

Officers say they took the suspect dressed in black into custody just before 4:00 this morning, however, they are still searching for the second suspect.
