A 21-year old Fort Frances man faces dangerous driving charges after a single-vehicle crash sent him to hospital.

At around 5 pm Friday afternoon, his vehicle lost control and went into a ditch off Highway 11 near Eva Lake.

A passenger suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was treated for minor injuries.

Police say members of the public provided emergency first aid and investigative assistance.

It was determined that the driver was operating the vehicle dangerously and violating conditions of an undertaking. The man was taken into custody by the police and held for a bail hearing.

He has since been released with a later court date.
