Firefighters in Thunder Bay say no one was injured after crews quickly brought a fully engulfed RV and garage fire under control.

Crews were called to High Street South around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Heavy smoke was visible before the first unit arrived, prompting dispatch to upgrade the call.

When firefighters reached the scene, the blaze had already spread to a nearby garage, putting a neighbouring home at risk.

Crews say they launched an aggressive interior attack, with six pumpers and a command vehicle on scene. After an assessment of the area, teams confirmed that damage to the RV and garage was extensive.
