Bruce Willis has retired from acting. His family released a statement that he is stepping away from acting because he was diagnosed with aphasia, which affects his cognitive abliities.  According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia “is a condition that robs you of the ability to communicate” and can be caused by a stroke, head injury or a disease. He is known for roles in over 100 films like The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, 12 Monkeys and the very popular Die Hard movie franchise as cop John McClane, as well as the TV series Moonlighting, with Cybill Shepherd. The 67-year-old‘s daughter Rumer Willis posted a message on social media that the family is moving ahead in this difficult time and wanted to let his fans know.
