COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: CONNIE’S RYE AND GINGER

How to make:

Step 1: Fill your glass with some ice. Add in 1 to 2oz of rye and top with ginger ale.

Step 2: Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!!

Ingredients:

Ice
Forty Creek Copper Pot
Canada Dry Ginger Ale
A squirt of a lime wedge

RECIPE OF THE WEEK: SHRIMP STIR FRY

How to make:

Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the garlic, ¼ cup of water, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, and cornstarch. Whisk to combine.

Step 2: Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is glistening, add the bell pepper, and snap peas. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables begin to soften, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, until pink and opaque, 3 to 4 minutes more.

Step 3: Add the soy sauce mixture to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is slightly thickened and the shrimp and veggies are completely coated, about 5 minutes.

Step 4: Serve over vermicelli rice noodles.

Ingredients:

4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon gochujang
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup snap peas cut in half
1 473g bag of frozen shrimp
