Three years, eight months on the charge of kidnapping and two years for the charge of accessory after the fact to murder.

That’s what was handed to Marshall Hardy-Fox for his part in the 2019 death of 40-year-old Lee Chiodo.

His body was found on the morning of February 24, 2019, near 108th Avenue. He died as a result of a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

With time served in pre-sentence custody, Hardy-Fox will have 21 more months left to serve.

He pled guilty to the lesser charges back in February and had his murder charge withdrawn.

David Hui and Musab Saboon were both found guilty of first-degree murder and kidnapping following a trial in March.

The sentence to Hardy-Fox includes a 10-year weapons ban, submitting a DNA sample and the requirement to complete any counselling or rehabilitative programs recommended by his probation officer.
