The Hoito is going to be hosting its first pop-up family breakfast.
The first to happen for the Hoito in it’s history, and since it tragically burnt down in 2021, the fundraiser will allow people to stop in and enjoy a fresh Hoito breakfast while supporting fundraising efforts.
If all goes well, it’s likely that there will be other pop-up Hoito breakfasts in the future.
So far the Finlandia Cooperative has raised close to $100,000 to outfit the future restaurant with new equipment for the Hoito kitchen as well as for the dining room for guests.
In partnership with the RFDA and the Lakehead Rotary Club, the pop-up pancake breakfast will be held in the parking lot of the RFDA at 570 Syndicate Ave.
Breakfast will be available from 9am-1pm on Sunday June 18 (Father’s Day) where tickets are available online.
The first little bit will be takeout only, then there will be space and opportunity for guests to sit and eat outside.
Tickets and more details on the pop-up can be in the Facebook post.
