Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA) President Rick Dumas will return for another term as Marathon’s mayor.

Dumas has been mayor since 2006, but this is the first time since then that he faced an opponent.

Pitted against challenger Louise Hamilton, Dumas won with 54 per cent of the vote (852 votes).
