One person is dead and two others suffered minor injuries in a crash on Highway 17 just east of Raith.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that a pickup truck and a tractor trailer collided at 9:20 am Friday.

The driver of the tractor trailer unit is not injured.

An investigation is underway, but there’s no official word as to when the road will reopen.
