Despite the rain forecasted for this week, it’s not going to dampen the opening of splash pads across the city.

Over the next two weeks, the splash pads will be opening as follows:

Prince Arthur’s Landing Splash Pad Opens June 15

Operates 11:00am-8:30pm 7 days/week
Water Garden Pavilion is open 9:00am-9:00pm beginning this week

Franklin Park and County Park Splash Pads will be open by June 17th

Hours are 11:00am-8:00pm
Portable washrooms will be on site

North End and James St Playfield Splash Pads will be open by June 24th

Hours are 11:00am-8:00pm
Portable washrooms will be on site

According to the City of Thunder Bay, this year there will be NO fencing or STAFF at the sites.

However there will be the standard daily cleanings and maintenance at each location in the mornings.
