TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD:

We spend a lot of time talking about Thunder Bay’s sports teams, businesses, and community heroes… but TOMORROW NIGHT, it’s all about celebrating the people who make our city “creative”.

The Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Awards are set for Thursday (November 5) night at Magnus Theatre, and the idea behind this – is fantastic. It’s a chance to roll out the red carpet for the musicians, actors, photographers, writers, filmmakers, heritage advocates, volunteers, and community groups who make our city – a more interesting place to live.

Think about it. Every concert you’ve enjoyed, every local play, every festival, every historic building that’s been preserved… none of that happens by accident. There’s passionate people behind it all.

Thursday night, they’ll be recognized with live entertainment, award presentations, some drinks, and an after-party celebration. It’s a reminder that arts and heritage aren’t just nice extras. They’re the stories, memories, and experiences that give a community its personality.

So here’s a shout-out to everyone who helps keep Thunder Bay creative, vibrant, and uniquely Thunder Bay. Thursday night – it’s your night to shine.  Congratulations.
