A pretty dramatic rescue took place at an artistic swimming competition in Budapest, Hungary. Anita Alvarez had just finished her solo performance when she fainted and started to sink in the pool. Her quick thinking coach Andrea Fuentes quickly jumped into the water- fully clothed- to save her with the help of a fellow swimmer, as her teammates looked on in horror.

Alvarez was resuscitated and is on the mend. Unfortunately concussions and fainting are pretty common in this sport so it is risky, but glad to see that she is okay.
