Thunder Bay goalie Matt Murray joins his third NHL franchise.

The Ottawa Senators dealt the netminder Monday along with a third round pick (2023) and a seventh round pick (2024) to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for future considerations.

The Senators will also pay 25 per cent of Murray’s remaining salary, which totals $1.875 million.

Murray signed a four year, $25 million deal with Ottawa in October 2020.

He played in 20 games last season, compiling a record of 5-20-0-2 to go along with a 3.05 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.
