Have you ever had to stop on the highway for wildlife? I remember we stopped once for a momma bear and four cubs that followed. Traffic came to a complete stop on Monday in Washington State for a family of ducks trying to make it across the road safely. The incident caused a 10-minute backup. There was film of motorists who stopped traffic to herd the fowl while the State troopers were on the way there. All of the ducks were removed safely from the road.

Yikes!
We have baby ducklings trying to cross northbound I-405 just south of 112th Ave SE in #Newcastle. That’s what is causing this. WA State Patrol is enroute.
Please drive with extra caution in this area! Expect delays while folks play duck duck goose trying to remove them. pic.twitter.com/5EdjaOo2rJ
