Police are asking the public for help in the citys most recent homicide.

Officers tesponded to a call on McMillan Street following a reported weapons incident in the afternoon on Friday, July 29.

When officers arrived they located a deceased 37-year-old Thunder Bay man. Consultation with family remains ongoing and as a result the identity of the victim is not being released at this time.

A post-mortem examination of the deceased has been completed and police can confirm that a firearm was used during the initial incident.
