Had the honor of golfing at Strathcona Golf Course yesterday and it’s in fantastic shape.  As I was chasing the little white ball around I was trying to deterime what hole was my favourite to play.  There are a lot of great ones to chose from but I think it’s got to be lucky #13.

It’s a Par 4 375 yard dogleg left and is beautiful but challenging.

One of the things that makes it tricky is the power lines that run across the tee box.

I’ve  golfed this hole 20 times and I’ve never hit the wire… until yesterday.  It was a good thing that I did because my tee shot was going WAY right and would of ended up on the next hole.  My second shot I hit a tree branch and only got 50 yards.  The third shot I was still 200 yards from the green and put both cheeks into my 2 hybrid and got it close.

I then chipped it over the green and when I finally got it on I  3 putted… I ended up with a snowman.

An 8!!  On what is supposed to be my favourite hole… well it sure doesn’t like me.  From now on this is my fav hold at Strathcona
