Cole Swindell‘s latest hit She Had Me at Heads Carolina pays tribute to Jo Dee Messina‘s debut hit from 1996, Heads Carolina, Tails California. Swindell met with Messina who appears as a bartender in the video for the song.

He also got a chance to wish her a happy 52nd birthday, and said she made him a 90’s country fan, and hopes to do the song with her someday. Maybe they can do both.
