There won’t be a leadership race to select the next leader of the provincial NDP.

Marit Stiles is the only person to enter the race.

The deadline to enter was yesterday.

Kiiwetinoong MPP Sol Mamakwa indicated he was not interested in the party’s top job.

The NDP says Stiles was the only person who met all the requirements to enter the leadership race.

She’ll be confirmed in a vote by party members.
