Highway 17 has been closed between Ignace and Shabaqua following a collision.

A post to Ontario511 Northwestern states barricades have been put up as a result and are asking people to avoid the area

No estimated reopening time has been made available.

Detour routes are limited and would require those travelling to go down Highway 11 towards Atikokan and Fort Frances.
