Several agencies and communities in northwestern Ontario are receiving funding from Hydro One.

Each gets $25,000 from the utility’s Energizing Life Community Fund.

It supports community-led projects that focus on improving mental and physical health.

The Regional Food Distribution Association is using its donation on a Food Literacy Program.

Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation is upgrading a community roundhouse.

Atikokan Public Library will use its money to create space for families to gather and learn new skills, share new ideas and make new friends.

It is the third year Hydro One has issued the funding.
