Earlier this week, Orkin Canada released their list of the “bed buggiest” cities across the country.

First off, bed bugs can be found almost anywhere there’s wood or fabric.  They are visible to the naked eye.  They’re resilient, hard to control.  According to Orkin, you’ll find them almost everywhere:  in taxis, airplanes, hotels etc.

They released their list of the 25 “bed buggiest” cities in Canada.  THUNDER BAY didn’t make the Top 25.  I don’t think that means we don’t have bed bugs.  I guess we’re just not the “bed buggiest” city.  LOL

Making the list:  Halifax, Timmins, Edmonton, London, Sault Ste. Marie.

Sudbury was 3rd, followed by Vancouver.  #1 for the third straight year:  TORONTO.

Orkin suggests you ‘declutter your space’, inspect second hand furinture.  Plus, when checking into a hotel:  check your mattress, the cushions, keep your luggage elevated, look over your personal items.  AND, they also recommend that you put your clothes in the dryer for at least 45 minutes.
