Trent and Dee talked to Polar Bear Plunge participants Tom (Police), Robert (Fire) and Rob (EMS) from Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, Thunder Bay Police Service, and the Superior North EMS.

They’ve got a little bet going on to see who will raise the most funds for some awesome local organizations  (Special Olympics Thunder Bay, Pro Kids, Roots Community Food Centre, CNIB).

They came on the air to do some smack talking and we had some fun with who may be the big winner of their fundraiser (besides the deserving organizations!)

The highest fundraising team will get the privilege of watching members of the other two teams wash their vehicles and host a BBQ.

So if you want to support a great cause, fuel some fun and friendly competition, and support your emergency services members, please donate! If the idea of watching police and EMS members washing a fire truck makes you smile, you want to see members from Fire and EMS working the grill after washing cruisers, or you like the vision of the police and fire putting some elbow grease into a dirty ambulance and flipping burgers for the medics, pick your team and donate!
