The panel overseeing the Portapique inquiry will deliver its recommendations on Thursday.

The inquiry took a deep dive into causes and circumstances that led to the murder of 22 people by a gunman driving a replica police vehicle over two days in April 2020.

The report is thousands of pages long and will include recommendations to improve community safety and sharing of information.

RCMP were criticized for slow response in notifying the public about the active shooter and using Twitter as their main platform.

Their findings will be made public, nearly three after the tragic events, at noon on Thursday.
