Organizers are inviting you to spread some positivity in your neighbourhood with the second annual Neighbour Day.
On Saturday Thunder Bay wants you to reach out to your neighbours and share stories about your neighbourhood to social media.
Neighbour Day suggestions include leaving thank you messages on neighbours’ doorsteps, or posting them to social media with the hashtag #thanksneighbour.
Organizers also want you to try activities like the city’s new virtual walking tour app.
Other communities have celebrated Neighbour Day with in-person festivities over the years, but the city took it on as a virtual and distanced event last year.
Families who pre-registered to get activity kits for children are picking them up today at the Current River Community Centre.
