Vaccine eligibility is expanding this week in Thunder Bay for the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reported that as of Monday, June 21, those who received their first shot on or before May 9 can secure their appointment as of 8:00 a.m.

Appointments at the CLE Coliseum can be booked through the health unit’s website while times at the Bora Laskin building can be found through their website.

You can also book your second appointment if:

You are 12 years and older and need your first dose
Note: You should select a clinic where the Pfizer vaccine is given
If you received the AstraZeneca vaccine as your first dose, provided the second dose appointment date is at least
8 weeks from the initial dose date
If you are 70 years of age and older
Note: The second dose appointment is at least 28 days following the first dose
