Police have now heard a new excuse for speeding

“My car was on autopilot.”

It occurred last week when an Ontario Provincial Police Officer was performing radar enforcement on Highway 11/17.

When they tagged a Tesla doing 125 km per hour in a 90 km per hour zone.

But despite it being the “autonomous mode’s” fault the driver still received a ticket for speeding.
