Highway 11/17 just west of Thunder Bay will be down to one lane of traffic into the evening and overnight.

The Ministry of Tranportation says they are doing road repairs in the area near Finmark Road just before Shabaqua Corners.

That’s the area where a two vehicle collision killed two people yesterday and sent two others to hospital.

The highway was closed for over 20 hours because of the accident.

The MTO says it will be alternating lanes and traffic control will be in place.
