Significant damage can be seen to part of a north side home following a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue were called to the Gordon Avenue home just before 2:45 p.m. and appear to have been able to snuff out the flames quickly.

Several pumpers, a ladder truck and a command vehicle could be seen along with more than a dozen fire fighters along with support from Superior North EMS.
