A few schools in Dartmouth are currently in a hold and secure due to a police presence in the area.

Police say they are currently on scene of a home on Canso Lane. They have a residence contained.

HRCE says Dartmouth High, Bicentennial and Harbour View School are in a hold and secure as a precautionary measure.
