Metallica is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic album, The Black Album, by releasing a cover album. Country stars Chris Stapleton, Jon Pardi, Darius Rucker, and Mickey Guyton, are among the 53 artists that contributing to the project. Jon will be covering “Wherever I May Roam” and Darius, Chris and Mickey will all do their own version of “Nothing Else Matters”. All profits from the album are going to charity and split between Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, as well as charities chosen by each of the project’s 53 guest artists. The Metallica Blacklist tribute album drops on Sept. 10 and you can pre-order the reissue at Metallica.com.
