In a rare move, Laurenson’s Creek will be off limits to boat traffic for the next two days.

That’s because the final piece of the Moncrief Construction Sports Center Project requires work within the creek.

As a result there won’t be any access to Lake of the Woods from the creek.

Access from the creek east of the project area into Laurenson’s Lake will remain open during this period.

The only portion closed is directly in front of the boat launch areas.
