Paying for Halifax Transit fare is about to get a lot easier.

They are launching a new app called HFXGO which will allow customers to purchase and use tickets and passes from their phones.

For iOS and Android users.

Halifax Transit says it’s expected to launch this fall.

Passengers will still have the option to purchase paper tickets and passes and use cash.
