A minor boat fire on Lobster Rock Wharf in Yarmouth.

Firefighters were called to the dry-docked vessel around 3 p.m. today.

Chief Mike Deveau says it was caused by sparks from welding.

He says the workers did a great job containing the fire before department members showed up.

There were no injuries.
