A woman and her pets able to escape after flames broke out in the Ambrose and Wilson Street area.

Crews responded just after 7:00 p.m. Sunday and discovered smoke and flames coming from a shed on Wilson.

The shed and it’s contents sustained major damage with the adjacent house on Ambrose receiving exterior damage only.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
