The Yarmouth Mariners split a pair of weekend home games.

Friday night, things fell apart in the 2nd period on their way to a 7-2 loss to the Ramblers.

The Mariners allowed 5 straight goals in just under 4 minutes.

A much better result for the team on Saturday, as they held on to beat the Valley Wildcats 6-4.

The Mariners were missing a number of regulars from the line-up over the weekend due to injury.

They’re back in action Thursday night in Summerside.
