Highway 17 between Ignace and Shabaqua Corners has been closed due to a two-vehicle collision.

The OPP say the incident took place around 10:30 when two semi tractor-trailer units collided about two kilometres east of English River.

Police say the road closure is expected to be long.

The O.P.P. say they will distribute details and updates of the road closure as information becomes available.
