Highway 502 has been shut down because of weather conditions.

The closure is from the junctions of Highway 11 and Highway 594.

No word when the road will be reopen but sanders and plows are on the roads.

A mixture of rain and snow overnight has left many area roads icy this morning.

Highway 17 between Kenora and Thunder Bay is open, but there are reports of an accident near Vermilion Bay.
