A change in the path of a weekend snow storm.

Environment Canada says it’s now tracking further offshore, but up to 20 centimetres could fall Sunday into Monday.

The South Shore will see the heaviest snowfall.

A Special Weather Statement is in effect for Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, Lunenburg, Queens and Halifax counties.

The forecaster notes the track could still change expected snow amounts.

The highest wind gusts are expected to reach 60 km/h.
