After a long seven weeks, the strike is over for Pete’s Frootique workers in Halifax.

According to their union SEIU Local 2, they reached an agreement before the weekend.

Employees of the Sobey’s-owned grocer, walked off the job November 18, fighting for more than their hourly rate of $15 an hour, after months of negotiations.

The union says they will release details of the agreement in the coming days.
