I really liked Ghostbusters as a kid. I remember the first showing I tried to go to, I was denied entry because I was too young, so I walked back across town and convinced my Uncle to come with me to the late show…which I’m sure he was NOT overly happy about but still did it. Hell of a guy, that Uncle Mike! Subsequent Ghostbusters movies haven’t held that special place for me that the first one did, but they’ve all been really good. As a matter of fact, I really loved the Ghostbusters: Answer The Call movie from 2016. It was a refreshing reboot but apparently didn’t take place in the same universe as the original Ghostbusters movies (comic book movies, what are you gonna do?). So a NEW Ghostbusters movie set in the original universe has been produced and will be coming out this November. From what I gather from the trailer, looks like Egon’s grandkids find his stash of ghosts and unleash them on a small, rural town. In one respect, it sounds a little silly, but who doesn’t like some silly in their lives? The trailer looks fantastic and if the nods to the original from the 2016 movie are any indication, we can likely expect lots of surprises in this one. Check out the trailer below!
