When you drive past the Thunder Bay Police Headquarters, along the Central Avenue side, you see all those bikes.  Have you ever asked yourself what happens with those bikes?  After a period of time, if they are not claimed – they go up on the auction block.

The Thunder Bay Police launched their annual “police auction” the other day.  A few years ago, the auction took place on site at the Balmoral Street headquarters.  It’s since changed to an online auction.  It’s online at GovDeals.ca.

They have bikes with starting bids of $12.  Pretty good.

BUT – that’s not all.  Also on the auction list is a set of Pool Cues and the cases.

PLUS, you’ll find, under the “confiscated goods section”:  a Garrison Dehumidifier.  Starting bid:  $12

Take a look, you never know what you might find.  Go to the site at Govdeals.ca
